Agency Systems Newton allows you to download information directly from participating carriers into your management system, saving time and money.

You will enter policy information into a company's website. A day or two later, the information will be loaded into your Agency Systems database by the download function. Clients, policies, and forms will be created based on what is sent over from the company.

To initiate receipt of policy downloads from a given company:

You as the agent must call your carrier to request download. They will let you know the process they have in place. We can help you answer questions the company asks; but it is up to the agent to contact the company, complete any form they may require, and send that information to the company. If you are currently using a different management system and are receiving downloads, you will need to notify your carriers that you are changing management systems.

The data should be sent from the company directly to the agent, not to the Agency Systems office. Different Companies use different methods to send the data to you; many use the IVANS network, some have proprietary software. The choice of which to use is dictated by the company. We have structured Agency Systems so that the company choice doesn't matter.

Our current products are Agency Systems Newton, Agency Apps, and Agency On-Line. Some companies may have our previous product, Agency Solution, listed as the certified product. If you come across a company that does not have Agency Systems as a listed vendor, please let us know so that we can contact the company immediately.

Agency Systems will certify all personal, commercial, and commission downloads with any company who is willing to participate.
|
|
Processing the download files from your insurance carrier is simple. The files will be imported to your system via a program called Transfer Manager (IVANS files) or proprietary software from the insuring company. Once the files have been retrieved Agency Systems Training staff will walk you through the steps to process those files.
