Overview:
Policy View allows you to link directly from a policy in Agency Systems to the company's website. This document explains how to set up that link, and report issues.

Process:
Setup:
From the main menu, select Profiles -> Company
Enter the code of the company you wish to setup
Select the Web tab.
Company Website is used for companies that are not pre-scripted. You may enter the web address of the company on the company tab, and Policy View will jump to the specified site. Rather than selecting a company from the drop down box select .User Defined.
Note: The username and password will not be prefilled when jumping to the website.
Refers To is used to specify the “master” company for “writing” companies so that you only have to maintain logins for the “master” company and the changes will filter to the “writing” companies. If the Refers To company is different than the company you are currently on it will gray out all other options. You may also view what “writing” companies are associated with the “master” by selecting list.
Website Type is used to specify the Policy View script used for that company. If the company is in the drop down box it will log you into the website based off the login credentials provided in the company profile.
User ID, Agent ID, and Password are the login credentials for the website specified.
The Add Login button allows you to specify login credentials for individual operator codes.
Requesting a new Policy View Script, or reporting a "Broken Script:"
There are several pieces of information needed in order to setup a new company in the Policy View module. You will need to provide customer support with the information below:
Name of Company
Full Web Address to see information for a specific policy number for that company
User ID
Password
Policy Number for an active policy with the company

Some items to note about Policy View:
At this time we are only supporting major carriers.
If you have a request for a Policy View and it is a carrier that you do a majority of your business with we will work to make this available to you.
While we work at getting all policy views working for all companies, some companies use technology (such as telnet or terminal services) that we can't interface with.
Companies may sometimes make changes to their websites, requiring us to update our programs. Please notify us if a given Policy View needs to be updated.
